נִסוֹרֶת
נִסוֹרֶתf. (נָסַר) chips, saw-dust. Sabb.IV, 1 (49a) נ׳ של חרשיןוכ׳ (Talm. ed. נְסוֹרוֹת pl.) (fine) saw-dust of the carpenters; Y. ib. 6d bot. אנן תנינן נ׳ … נעורתוכ׳ we read nsoreth, the teachers of the house of Rabbi read nʿoreth, which shows that both mean the same. B. Kam. X, 10 (119a) אף הנ׳ של בעה״ב Y. ed. (Mish. ed. הנִסָּרוֹת, some Bab. ed. הנִסָּרִים; v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 200; Ar. הנסורות) even the saw-dust belongs to the employer.
